Our database will provide clients with a comprehensive criminal report for each state as well as a 35 state registered Sex Offender search and an International Terrorist database search. Most states have Felony and Misdemeanor records and others have only Felony. A few states include driving records.
Felonies are usually crimes that are punishable by at least one year of jail time.
Misdemeanors are less severe charges punishable by a fine or jail time of less than one year.
This broad search retrieves information pertaining to the applicants name and date of birth. The databases come directly from the states. Each state reports different information. This search can often detect a criminal record when it would not typically be spotted by a county criminal search. Statewide Criminal searches should only be used for pre employment screening if preformed along with a county search due to FCRA employment laws.
